OTOLITH PENDANT NECKLACE

$165

The Otolith pendant is cast from stunning otolith bones, which are part of the inner ear of a tilefish. Otoliths have been used to create jewelry for hundreds of years in fishing villages, but are relatively unknown today. I fell in love with the pattern of these intricate bones, but also their use as they provide balance for fish as they travel through water. I found these unique treasures at a seafood market in North Carolina and repurposed them with Jacto’s signature style.
